FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS |
 |
| |
Do we have to attend every meet?
No. Your swimmer may not qualify for every meet.
How do we know which meets we can attend?
You'll notice meets are labeled with letters (A, BB, B/C). These letters designate USA Swimming Time Standards. Swimmers under 12 with no times in USA Swimming can compete in B/C meets. Swimmers 13 and older with no USA Swimming times are automatically considered BB. Swimmers with USA Swimming times, should verify that their times qualify. You can always ask a coach, or check your times in USA Swimming's online database.
These meets are 2 or 3 days long do we have to stay the whole time?
Your swimmer will compete during the days/times of their entered events only. Relay swimmers should stay until their relay has competed. You are free to leave when your events are completed. No one should leave the meet without checking out with the coach.
